A brand new Men’s Resistance Circuit on Wednesday mornings and an additional Ladies Only Circuit on Tuesday mornings are among the changes to our Group Classes Timetable for Term 2.
Term 2 runs for 11 weeks – from April 16 to June 29.
Nick said he would be running the new Men’s Resistance Circuit from 6am to 7am every Wednesday morning.
“We’re approaching it as a fun weights hour – it’ll be less about puffing and more about lifting, chatting, getting fit and learning how to do it safely and effectively,” he said.
“It’s aimed at men over 30 who are looking to get in shape and stay in shape. I’ll be taking the class and I’m really looking forward to it.”
Nick said the timetable already included five Ladies Only Circuit classes, but the decision had been made to add another one.
“Ladies Only Circuit is our most popular class at the moment. It has really resonated with ladies who enjoy exercising together, supporting each other and achieving their desired outcomes in a group setting,” he said.
“Previously we had classes at 9am and one on a Monday in the evening, but we wanted to add an early morning one to make sure there was an opportunity for all women to participate regardless of their in individual work or family circumstances.
“So each Tuesday at 6.30am, Hanna Fleming will conduct a new Ladies Only Circuit session for anyone more suited to an early morning time slot.”
Nick also reminded community members that his new Platinum Memberships were a great way to enjoy unlimited Group Classes as part of gym membership package.
“As we announced early this month, our new Platinum Memberships are $25 a week and include a full gym membership with swipe tag access and as many Group Classes as people want – subject to class size and availability,” he said.
“For non-platinum members, the cost of group classes is the same – $10 per class when paid upfront for the term or $12.50 for single classes attended casually. So when you think about it, if you come to two or three classes a week, it now makes sense to become a platinum member and enjoy full gym access and the classes for $25 a week.
“Similarly, if you’re already a gym member there’s a great opportunity to pay a little extra to go platinum and join in as many group classes as you wish.”
