The doors of our new, state of the art gym and training centre will open at 6am on Saturday, June 4.
Over the past two months, Camperdown’s former FoodWorks supermarket has been transformed into a fitness mecca designed to meet a broad range of needs.
Whether you’re just starting out with a personal goal or an elite athlete with specific requirements, our new facilities at 2 Brooke Street in Camperdown cater for everyone.
Business owner Nick Hose said the size of the building meant people could find an exercise option that was right for them and that they felt comfortable with.
“In addition to the main gym floor, we’ve been able to create private workout areas, a seperate studio for one-on-one personal training sessions, another area for our group classes and a private consult room,” he said.
“I’d urge people to come and have a look – it has even exceeded my initial expectations.
“We’ve got a sprint track, state of the art equipment, the whole building is climate controlled, there’s a sound system throughout, there are televisions and most importantly trained staff to supervise and support you.”
Nick said the business would initially employ five other staff members – including three additional personal trainers.
“I’m pleased to have personal trainers Emma Smith, Hanna Fleming and Sarah Barry as part of the Nick Hose Fitness team. They are all fully qualified and each have personal areas of expertise that complement each other and provide a wide variety of options for our clients,” he said.
“We’ve also employed Taylor and Karen Harlock in our reception area and they’ll also run Rise & Grind – our in-gym coffee and juice bar.”
Nick said people could purchase 3 month, 6-month or 12-month memberships to the access the main gym floor from 6am to 9pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
“Everyone with a membership will be issued with their own swipe tag to access the gym when it suits them,” he said.
