One of my highlights in 2018 was getting our new Men’s Resistance Circuit up and going on Wednesdays. I’ve enjoyed it so much we’re about to do it on Fridays as well!
While there are many men in our community who are committed to being fit and healthy, as a general rule us blokes are nowhere near as proactive about it as women are.
So, it was great to see some new faces in the gym enjoying the Men’s Resistance Circuit in 2018 and the time was right for us to double the offering this year.
Our new Term 1 timetable of Group Classes gets underway next week and runs for 10 weeks right thought to April 5.

Remember if you’re a Platinum Gym Member ($25 per week) you can enjoy unlimited Group Classes for no additional cost. This is proving to be a great way for our members to enjoy lots of variety and flexibility to help them stay motivated and on track.
For non-platinum members, the cost of group classes is the same – $10 per class when paid upfront for the term or $12.50 for single classes attended casually. So, when you think about it, if you come to two or three classes a week, it makes sense to become a platinum member and enjoy full gym access and the classes for $25 a week.
I will again be taking the Men’s Resistance Circuit on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6am-7am. They are open to all ages, but specifically target men over 30 who are looking to get in shape and stay in shape.
The guys who are already involved enjoy a great social hour and the weights are a lot of fun in an environment where there is great camaraderie and peer support.
