A brand new BURN45 class on Monday mornings and KB STRENGTH session on Tuesday evenings are among the changes to our Group Classes Timetable for Term 2.
BURN45 is a new fresh class aimed at giving an all over body work out. The class is open to everybody but be warned, it won’t be for the faint hearted and Nick is really looking forward to pushing people to their limit.
Timed intervals and a variety of exercises with minimal rest will be the format for the class. Exercises can be modified for different requirements.
No experience will be needed to attend the class, but a will to persevere when the body is telling you to quit will make the time more ‘enjoyable’.
Term 2 runs for 10 weeks – from April 23 to June 28.
KB STRENGTH is a class using kettlebells in a variety of exercises to help strengthen and tone the body. Hanna will be taking the class on Tuesdays at 6pm.
Nick also reminds community members that his new Platinum Memberships are a great way to enjoy unlimited Group Classes as part of gym membership package. You can sign up online here or pop into the gym to find out more and pick up the paperwork.
“As we announced last year, our new Platinum Memberships are $25 a week and include a full gym membership with swipe tag access and as many Group Classes as people want – subject to class size and availability,” he said.
“For non-platinum members, the cost of group classes is the same – $10 per class when paid upfront for the term or $12.50 for single classes attended casually. So when you think about it, if you come to two or three classes a week, it now makes sense to become a platinum member and enjoy full gym access and the classes for $25 a week.
“Similarly, if you’re already a gym member there’s a great opportunity to pay a little extra to go platinum and join in as many group classes as you wish.”
