Every school term, we offer a new timetable of group classes. These include;
Personal Trainer Aaron Davis offers Wednesday night Boot Camp that is targeted at anyone looking to be pushed just that little bit harder.
We regularly include a Boxing Class with Emma. Boxing is open to any person who is looking to increase their overall fitness. No prior experience is required.
We also continue with our KidsFit. These two classes, one for the boys and one for the girls, are targeted at kids aged 8-16. The classes consist of simple, fun exercises. The class is ideal for parents wanting to open their children’s mind to other forms of exercise. It’s about stepping away from traditional exercises like football and netball and taking the kids back to basics, like how to jump and land properly, skipping, how to squat, do push ups and other forms of exercise that are falling by the wayside due to the ever increasing use of technology.
Ladies only circuit is a low impact resistance program targeted at women who wish to increase lean muscle mass, burn fat, improve bone density and increase overall strength through a structured weights circuit.
Mums and Bubs is taken by Hanna, a mother of 3 herself. The class gives you the opportunity to exercise with your child, either using them as resistance or letting them play with the other kids while you are training. Hanna is highly knowledgable in post natal exercise and designs her session to suit these specific requirements.
Pilates is a low impact, fitness based exercise class, suited to all ages. It helps strengthen core stabilising muscles, can improve your posture and increase your flexibility. It also promotes the mind/body connection and all classes finish with a five minute relaxation.
Powerbar consists of lifting a weighted bar and/or weight plates to music. Our Power Bar specialist Hanna choreographs specific exercises to music to make it easy to follow, specific and fun.
Spin is an intense exercise program suitable for all fitness levels. It’s perfect for weight loss, improving body tone and building endurance. Each class covers hill climbing, racing, sprinting, intervals and spinning. The class is extremely easy to follow and gives great results to all the key muscle groups.
We recently launched Family PT – a half-hour session with a personal trainer designed to help parents and their children exercise together and have fun at the same time.
Masters Class is a 45 minute group circuit designed to help older people exercise safely and effectively.
Metafit was introduced at Nick Hose Fitness during the 2016/17 summer holidays and there was so much demand it has become part of our regular timetable of group classes. It combines traditional bodyweight exercises, with high intensity interval training to create a 30-minute workout that our clients are really enjoying.
Yoga is great for people’s health and promotes good physical, emotional and mental wellbeing through a range of techniques – including postures and movement, breathing exercises, relaxation, concentration and even meditation.
